Make a request
Email founders@trybimi.in with the subject “Bimi account deletion request”. You may write from any email address; tell us that you want your account deleted and how we can identify it. Please do not include a password or verification code.
If email is unavailable, you can message bimi on WhatsApp. The link opens a draft; you must send the message yourself.
Delete specific data without closing your account
You can remove a saved address in the app. To request deletion of other personal data while keeping your account, email founders@trybimi.in with the subject “Bimi personal data deletion request”. Tell us which data you want deleted and how we can identify your account. We may need to verify your identity. Data needed for an active booking or required by law may need to be kept as described below.
What happens next
We may ask you to verify that the account belongs to you before acting on the request. We complete account deletion within 30 days after your final upcoming booking finishes. If you have no upcoming booking, the 30 days starts when we verify your request. An existing booking can still proceed while the request is pending.
If you can still sign in, you can also start a deletion request from the app’s Profile page.
Your data
We delete your account, saved addresses, preferences, unused quotes, private feedback, and nonessential contact copies. We keep only legally required GST invoice, payment, and refund records for 72 months from the due date of the annual return for the relevant year. Records subject to legal proceedings or a legal hold may be kept longer where required by law. Access to retained records is limited to accounting and support needs.
