Bimi is run by two people in Bangalore. This page explains, in plain language, what data we collect through this site and how we handle it. If you have a question that isn't answered here, write to dasanjan1296@gmail.com.

What we collect on this site

When you join the waitlist, we collect the information you give us in the form — typically your name, email, WhatsApp number, and an optional one-line note about your household goal. We do not use third-party analytics, ad pixels, or session replay on this site.

Our hosting provider (Vercel) logs standard request metadata — IP address, user agent, request time — for security and to keep the site running. We do not link these logs to your waitlist entry except as needed to prevent abuse.

Why we collect it

Who we share it with

Your waitlist information stays inside Bimi's own systems. We do not sell it, rent it, or share it with advertisers. We use a small set of infrastructure providers (currently Vercel for hosting, Neon for our database, and Slack for internal notifications) — they process data only on our behalf, under their standard data-processing terms.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist entry until you ask us to delete it, or until 12 months after the pilot closes — whichever comes first.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you can ask us to show you what we have on you, correct it, or delete it. Email dasanjan1296@gmail.com with the email address you signed up with and we'll respond within 30 days.

Changes

If we change this page in a way that materially affects what we collect or how we use it, we'll email everyone on the waitlist before the change takes effect.
